I'm new here; glad to have found the site and forum!

I have an APEX AD-660 (NTSC in USA) with the upgraded firmware AD660-C, and am wondering if it will play PAL DVD's. I see a Sci-Fi series on ebay (Tripods) that I might purchase from England, but don't want to spend the money if my player won't handle it.

I have searched for this, and found one reply saying some DVD players will, some won't.
