hi, would it be safe for me to connect to the internet and download stuff while DVD2SVCD is actively making an SVCD? i'm afraid using the modem might interrupt the process or something. i usually leave my PC on overnight to download files, and now i leave it overnight to make SVCDS as well. would be lovely if i could do both simultaneously.

yes you can use your pc....I've played RTCW while dvd2svcd is encoding. I set CCE on low priority though.

Just be careful actually installing anything at that time. I've installed something that suddenly said at the end that it was about to reboot the pc. This is especially true for Windows Updates. (Usually you can select 'reboot later', but not always!)
