    I know M$ dont support divx3 but will play divx 5 and above.


    Apart from Re-encoding the whole movie to Divx 6,

    Is there any quick way to trick the Xbox360 into playing the file ?

    Like changing header information in the file ? or something ?

    there are fourcc changers out there. I don't know the names but check the tools section to the left.

    Yes your only other option would be to reencode them which would reduce the quality.
