I have about a 8gig size 720p .mkv file. The audio is 1.5DTS stream. I'm trying to convert this either to a couple DVD5's or to stream through my xbox360.

What method woulld give the best audio/video quality? Is there any method that would reduce or result in no loss of quality in audio or video from the .mkv file?

I know how to split a movie into 2 dvd5's, I'v done that before... just never from a .mkv source.

Tried something like Gotsent? It converts to a mp4, can split and reconvert the audio also.

Would that be better than converting to VOB with MK2vob and burning on 2DVD's?

I'm looking for what would be the higher quality conversion.

I think you're going to have to stream the mkvs with tversity to the 360. I don't believe the 360 supports mkv. As far as I know it only supports wmv, divx - (and xvid??) avi and mp4 (limited mp4 at that).
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
