  1. Hi, I want to make a "Best Of" DVD made from my various concert DVD's. I've ripped the appropriate chapters from the DVD's already, but now I want to put them into Adobe Premiere Pro and edit them, but it doesn't recognize VOB's. I tried converting them to MPG's with VOB2MPG, but Premiere doesn't recognize the sound, only the video. How do I do this?

    Thanks.

Convert VOB files to DV-AVI using VirtualDubMod, with a DV codec separately installed, and the AC3ACM audio codec placed under the VirtualDubMod folder. Once the VOB is converted to DV-AVI, you may import into Premiere. Otherwise, use an editor specifically designed for editing VOBs and MPEG-2 files. Premiere was not really designed for that. There are several such editors (mainly cuts-only) listed in the Tools section of this website.
