Is there any software (free, if possible) which will quickly scan through a video stream and determine where commercial breaks (black frames?) are located and mark them - or even if I have to interact in the process, are there any that will just scan and show me where the breaks are? I currently will watch a stream in fast forward to try and catch where the breaks are and then will write down the timecode. Is there anything that will do this for me?
Thanks for any help.
