Anybody know of one that is truly free
-- not shareware or something "free" that adds watermarks ??

    Thanks.

Spent 45 minutes looking today, saw nothing..

Low cost (under $50) with a non-watermark trial would also be fine.

If all you want is boxes and lines, Microsoft Paint (comes with every Windows PC, you should already have it) has them, plus text that you can format.

    Hi lordsmurf,

The OpenOffice Organisation has a suite of truly freeware that is an alternative to the common / popular MS tools.

OpenOffice Draw (not used) looks like Visio from the website:

    http://www.openoffice.org/product/draw.html

...which sounds like what you're after.
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

    Carpe diem.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much room.

It depends on how 'fancy' you want to get. You can use Word and Power Point for that: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HA010552661033.aspx

Or a freeware program like Dia may work: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dia_%28software%29

An organization chart is just a version of a flow chart, so you can search for them that way.
