    I need help I do not even know if I am on the rite site,I will try to give the readers digest version of my dilemma I am a carpenter not a computer any thing I cannot type ,what I think I know is self taught so I am doubtful of how correct it can be OK? OK !
    Now I purchased Limewire or Ares something like that ne way I can down load movies to my computer but I cannot get them onto a dvd,I have Nero and Nero says everything from I need to d-load codecs to it cannot find the file that I am trying to load etc.etc. I am really interested in learning how to do this but I am confused on all of the lingo and obviously out of my realm any help would be appreciated as well as welcomed.

    You could try ConvertXToDVD. It will work much better than Nero for most conversions. Or for freeware, try FAVC. I would also recommend ImgBurn for burning the DVD. For DVD media, Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden are popular. Verbatim can be found at many electronic chain stores.

    Another essential tool is a codec identifier program. Gspot 2.70 or MediaInfo are both good.
