  1. This is my first question to this forum so I hope someone can help me.I have burned many JPEG photograhs as a Slideshow CD by Picasa 2 in correct date order and this plays back successfully on my PC, but when I play this CD on my TV by my Tevion 3000 DVD the photographs are in completely different order and are totally mixed up.
Does anyone know how I can remedy this so that by playing back through my DVD / TV the photographs will be in the date order in which they were burned on my CD by my PC.

Could possibly be a long filename issue. Most DVD players only support 8.3 filenames.

Your player may list/play your images in any order - alphabetically by name the most likely scenario.

Many thanks for your help, unfortunately it is not the answer to my problem. I did in fact have a long file name - 15 characters - but on reducing this to 5 letters the end result is the same i.e. perfect date order on my PC but an unrecognisable order, but always the same, on my DVD

As it's the same order every time, it's not random There's something that makes the player list/play your pics in that particular order. Without having acces to your disk and your TV, it's impossible to tell what that "something" is.
