I also have just got a Tevion 7072; bought on the first day ALDI were selling, as soon as I got home tried to find multi region hack, but not even a mention on www, pleased to see more peeps are now looking.
I approached a site called DVDUnlocks4u/DVDHacks4u ; sent them an email with model number and received reply advising they could supply unlock code.. I paid the £4 fee via paypal, then they came back asking for chip-set details, I looked in instructions, on player and www, and called ALDI support but all negative.
I advised DVDUnlocks4u/DVDHacks4u, they came back not happy with this.. they will send code they have, which to me sounds like pot-luck. I asked for money back and they have refused, even though they made no mention of chip-set info requirement!
Does anyone here know chip-set info?
Has anyone here used DVDUnlocks4u/DVDHacks4u.
I'm also looking for Panasonic DVD-LV50 unlock code, it seems one must buy/ rent a remote control hack?
I'll keep looking.
Cheers Peeps.

Hi, I'm new here. came looking for code for 7072.
I phoned the helpline today and got a fix from the agent.
Switch on - ensure no disc in tray.
Press setup and 9735 - region shows at top.
Use left right arrows to select region - 255 is multiregion.
Press setup twice.
Worked first time for me.

We would like to raise a point of order, regarding the message below.
We carried out a double check of the details provided by this person, because we had reason to be concerned that the details he provided were incorrect. If we provided him with instructions for a DVD unit that he gave incorrect details about, it could cause his DVD problems.
It seemed common sense and responsible to double check those details, which is what we do if we fear people have got it wrong, and it does happen.
The double check in this particular case gave extra insurance that the user had not provided the wrong details, by asking a few simple questions, which should not be an issue. Asking for chipset details is routine but is not required. It was one of four questions including double checking what the model number was from the correct place on the unit. If his unit was the unit he said it was, then the instructions we had for him, WOULD work. It did not mean, as we have said to him, that we did not have unlock instructions for him. We can do nothing about this user not believing us. That is an issue, unforunately, that the user has.
I don't see any reasonable person believing that this is anything other than responsible way of dealing with matters, when there is concern that details provided are incorrect.
This user would have been the first to complain if the instructions did not work even though it may have been due to incorrect details being provided.
But as we have said to this user a few times now, if he was absolutely sure that the details he provided were correct we would provide the instructions which were ready to go.
This user did not see it that way and unfortunately decided that asking a few basic questions by way of clarification, which were in his interest, meant that we were somehow acting suspiciously and has taken an accusatory stance ever since without any justification or the remotest foundation.
It should be noted that this user complained to Paypal and put all his point to them as an independent adjudicatory. They did not see things his way either.

I buy many items over the internet and also have a very high ebay ‘Positive Feedback ‘percentage, and an excellent relationship with Pay Pal.
mjwll96 is fully aware why Pay Pal were unable to find in my favor, it is not as he states; ‘they (PayPay) did not see things his way either.’
If fact, Pay Pal do not refund on non-tangible items, such as unlock codes. Perhaps mjwll96 is more aware of Pay Pay ‘small print’ than I.
Furthermore, in this instance Pay Pal refunded me, from their own funds, 100% of my loss to mjwll96 and more for my inconvenience; thus I did not take the matter further with mjwll96.
I stand by all I said in my post of Jun 19, 2007 19:50, and have supporting emails to substantiate myself,
I will not respond to further posts from mjwll96, as he/thay have wasted more than enough of my time.
I am an honorable person.
Sincerely,
