2nd post here, just starting to get into this. All i want to do is be able to edit 8mm film.
Would this software work for me?
I was told not to get the CineMate-15........... $1,100.00
but get the E-Z Scan 15............................... $2,400.00
As you can see big price difference. For being a new at this, can you give me any input at all.
Can't say that I will be doing this professional or just doing it for myself and friends and relatives.
Any comments would help.

film?
8mm or super8?
just have a lab do it for you
don't spend any money until you test out any soft/hardware completely...to see what's wrong it

A lot of peeps just set up the screen and rent a good video camera to shoot the screen...then just edit the video
I'm not familiar with the software but as you can see, not too thrilled with today's business model of releasing broken crap then fixing it 18 months down the road.
