I have an Accurian ADR 3223 and use it to record tv programs on a repeated basis. But have missed some programs. Cause- evidently there is a time limit as to "how long" the programed event will stay in place. Does anyone know what the "time frame" is, that is, how long will the recorder keep the "schedule" in place before it is aborted? The manual does not give a clue about this. Thanks.
I probably should have explained my question a bit better. The "events" that I programmed were well within the limits of time available. I keep copying from the hard drive to the DVD and keep the total time of recording on the Hard drive to about 20 hours (out of the 96 hours available in SLP mode). Only 6 events. One was Monday throught Friday for 3 hours. One was Monday through Friday for one hour. The others were One hour on a "weekly ( one day a week). The menu showing the list of "events" has a "green check" appear after the "event" has been recorded once. What is happening is that after some period of time (recording the events OK) that I will check the machine so that I can put programs on a DVD and there will be a RED check at the and of the "event" and the "event" will NOt have been recorded. I have to reenter the "event" data again. My basic question is for how many days or weeks will the "event recording" record before it goes to the "timed event exceeded" mode? Hope this is somewhat clearer. Again, thanks for info.

I've seen this set two ways (though I'm not familiar with your particular unit). Using Tivo, the "timer" is set during the record setup process. It is one of the options, you choose the quality setting and then how long to keep the show. I've also read where when recording some shows, like a pay-per-view fight or a show on Showtime or whatever, that a flag is set by the channel/station to only keep a show for a fixed period of time, say 7 days, and then it is deleted.
EDIT: It could also be in the player setup. Many players will start deleting shows to make room on the HDD for new shows.Google is your Friend
