    when i use inter video dvd, the sound is not heard. the sound is ac3(dolby digital).
    when i take a video file to wmplayer, it does not play? why
    when i take the same file to power dvd it plays well with sould also.

    Sounds like you are missing the ac3 codec needed for the sound. PowerDVD has it's own codecs, your other player likely does not.
