  1. I am wanting to get my old 16mm film converted to DVD. When this process is done is it then "digital"? I know how with tv shows they take the old tapes and turn them to digital and the quality is really good. Can that be done with 16mm to DVD as well? If so, how expensive is it?

    I've used this company twice.... had excellent results and fast turnaround on 8mm.

    http://www.wood-land.com/

    And they don't charge extra for sound.... as far as quality. It will be only as good as the original. No matter what company you use!

    There are lots of scams and sloppy transfer companies online. It would be smart to NOT post links unless you know who they are. We've had a lot of people get screwed in the past year or two.
