    This thread https://forum.videohelp.com/topic338621.html

His first language is apparently German. He wants to view Eqyptian tv on his pc captured from satellite (Nilesat). I don't think he has the pc hardware to do it live which is how he wants to. Saving the programs to a tivo like box and then transferring/recoding it later is what I think should be done.

Does anyone who speaks a little German want to help?

He said "i will buy new receiver
do you know how i can connect it with my pc and WME can receive the video with highest quality ?
    plz see this image

Maybe I'm missing the point, but if he is wanting to watch the SAT feed on his pc, all he needs is a TV tuner/capture card. Quality will vary based on his receiver, but he should get a capture card that has the highest quality inputs that the receiver uses (component/S-Video/composite - in that order).

You connect the video(and audio) output of the SAT receiver to the input of the capture card. The capture card should come with it's own software or you can find freeware, but it isn't really needed becaused the tuner can't be used anyway. You set the software to use Line-In (which corresponds to the input used above) and you should get video in the display window. You can watch it live, record it, or stream it (varies by software).

How on earth did you conclude this? I looked at the thread and I concluded that his first language is most likely Arabic. Native German speakers usually don't make the kinds of mistakes this guy made in English as their English is a lot better. His German might be better than his English, but I am mystified as to how you concluded from the thread in your link that this guy speaks German at all.

I can't provide the kind of help this guy wants and to be honest with you, even if I could, I wouldn't. While all of us were newbies at some point, this guy seems to be one of those "endless question" people who NEVER shut up asking questions no matter what you do to help them. I stopped answering all questions from forum members in 2 countries (Egypt isn't one of them) because in my experience almost none of the them are willing to do anything on their own in terms of research and reading and all these people do is ask one question after another and pester you with endless private messages about stuff you had already explained to them. Perhaps you concluded that he speaks German because he pestered YOU with endless private messages seeking help (and said something in those messages that made you think he speaks German) and you are a nice guy who wants to help him. I've dealt with too many people like this in the past to want to do it again. I know almost nothing about satellites so I can't help, but I wouldn't even if it could in this case.

He said VLC pixilates worse than WM Recorder, and I've used VLC enough to expect that if there isn't enough cpu power to do something.

As to the language. There are a lot of muslims in Germany, because of asylum laws imposed on them after WW2. The jpeg he sent looks German to me. DW uses Nilsat for German news uplink and has programs in English and Arabic, too. http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,2144,2858481,00.html
