  1. Umm... I know this sounds like I'm going out on a limb here and the question seems a bit stupid. Anyway, on my video card (a GeForce 2 Ultra with 64MB) it has two ports. One for the monitor and another for one of those new Digital VGA flat screen monitors. Unfortunately, I didn't think to get a card with S-Video out, so I was wondering if it's possible to get some kind of converter to utilize the flat screen output as an S-Video (or even the regular, I think their called RCA, cables)? Even using the regular monitor port would be ok.

I know that this probably sounds a bit crazy, but I at least wanted to ask it and remove the doubt from my mind before I have to go out and by another video card with S-Video. All help is appreciated.

  2. I don't think there is anything like that out there.

I have 2 suggestions though. If your Geforce2 card is made by Elsa, you should be able to buy an add on video module to your video card. Goto their site for more info (www.elsa.com). That's only if you have an Elsa manufactured card though.

My other suggestion is to get the Hollywood decoder card (it has svideo out I think). This one will take care of video while your Geforce 2 will take care of the rest. So you don't have to worry about paying mucho deniro on another video card.

  4. Right click on My Computer, and goto properties. Goto Device Manager and look at what it says under Display Adapters.

Nvidia develops the Geforce chips but the 3rd party companies sell the graphics cards.
