Extract AVSEQ files from multiple vcd's with Nero Vision 4.7.0.9, and burnt on one CDROM. When played back on 3 different players and got inconsistent results.

    A. If selected (extracted) files came from same vcd set (2 in a set), then no problem playing on any players.

    B. If seleted files came from multiple vcd's (different sources and multiple of them); then Pioneer 888 player plays video fine, but audio clicks and intermittant. Ritech player video rolls, but audio OK. Philips players has same problem as Ritech player.

    Questions:

Could this be problems with Nero Vision's trancoding from different source vcds? Or burnt problem (speed seems not to be the issue, I burnt with Max, x12, x4 with no differnences)?

Could this be player issue, not trancoding or recording problems?

    Can someone help? Thanks

Not sure where should I post this question, hope general forum is OK.

Are you mixing pal and ntsc vcds? then will Nero reconvert it. If not try author a vcd with something else like vcdeasy.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Nero will convert, in fact one of vcd's had been converted by Nero to pal, but still have the same problem.

    Baldrick,

    A. tried your suggestion using Vcdeasy trial version, did two files (limited by vcdeasy trial version requirement), one with NTSC format the other PAL. The Disc exhited identical audio and video problems as before on different players.

    B. My original VCD has both formats on same disk, when play back players displayed both formats accordingly.

    C. Any other thoughts that I can try?

    Thanks.
