MKV files usually are very good quality. I want to convert them to dvd. I also want to make menus and need an encoder. I use Nero vision for this. But since nero vision doesn't support MKV files. I need to first convert them to ts files with tsmuxergui first. The problem is some of the times the conversion or muxing makes the video out of sync and messes up the video in general. But the most obvious thing is it lowers the volume but a half. Is there a way to fix this? Do you guys have other recommendations for MKV file conversion/muxing something better than nero vision? thanks

You could convert the mkv to dvd mpg files using for example avstodvd and the import the mpg in nerovision and make your menus.

Or use Convertxtodvd but the menu editing capabilities are not the best though.
