Just wanted to let all here know that my posts for the next whole month will be quite sporadic, as I'm moving from the Midwest, USA to Nova Scotia, Canada!
(My spouse got a great job there)

Our new permanent lodgings won't be available until Aug. 1, so I don't know whether I'll have consistent internet access in the meantime. I'll do my best to drop in here at Videohelp when I can.

The 2010 winter olympics are going to be in Vancouver (the other end of the country), so I don't think a canadian city will get any other olympics for a while

You can see the falls from the American side, not nearly as well though. The American Falls are all but unviewable except from an observation deck projecting out from the cliff. If you made a U shape cut out a J and that's the falls. America got ripped as we are on the J side. Canada Got the | which is all observation. We should invade and take them over.

We have a lot of BYOB clubs in the area. They outnumber the strip clubs by quite a bit, one chage admission like $20-$30. Completely nude. Hell of lot cheaper than buying $6 beers. Guess they aren't common elsewhere?

Never seen an admission charge like that but all are totally nude up here - but they do vary from province to province...

I've been to strip clubs in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Calgary: Vancouver has the best quality (looking) girls, Calgary is a close second but I don't like the throwing money ($1 and $2 coins) at the stage, Toronto had the largest with the most girls - and lap dancing, Montreal was the wildest...

It's been a number of years since but the most fun was Toronto - probably because of the friends I had and tha age I was at.

That's the only charge, BYOB is "Bring your own Bottle". You can drag a cooler in with you if you want, better than buying $6 beers. Lap dances, showers.... they have back rooms where you can get a private dance. Not that I have ever visited any of these places.
