Menu Buttons looking odd

I'm making a DVD using Sony DVD Architect and noticed that after I build the dvd and preview it on my computer, parts of the buttons are missing. I've tried previewing in both VLC and PowerDVD. I've included pictures to show what I'm talking about.

I've tried a bunch of different settings and get the same result every time. Has anyone experienced this before and, if so, do you know how to fix it?

I think I figured out the problem. I added two blank pixels all the way around the images I was using for the buttons and they seem to work fine now. Figured I'd post the solution I found, in case someone else has the same problem some day.
