    I have a number of old Hi8 videos that I want to pull into my PC but I am having problems with the original camcorder. Is there any independent device out there that I can buy to be able to pull these videos into my PC or even play on my TV without having to buy a new Hi8 camcorder??

    Not sure if this is the correct forum or if this should be under hardware forum.

    i also have a problem transfering from hi 8 to pc . i lose quality . it is through firewire
    any comment?
