I have a DVD I am trying to create using TSUNAMI-MPEG DVD Author PRO and on it I have just two tracks. The first track has a video file that is actually a picture slideshow with audio. The second track has an actually video. My question is can I use this program to create a menu that when I click the slideshow thumbnail it plays the slideshow and doesn't bring up a track menu? But I do want a track menu for the video.

Here is my menu....Pick slideshow see slideshow. Pick Video Tour see chapter selection for video tour track. Is this possible?

    Can't be done.

Best you could do is make it with 2 chapter pages then take it to DVDLab(maybe GUI for dvdauthor or DVDAuthorgui, free apps I havn't used) to delete the Slideshow chapter page, and edit the Main page slidshow link to start the slideshow and instead of navigate to the chapter page. Making sure you set when finished playing to return to top menu in Tsunami.

Or just use a top menu with no chapter pages at all. You can still have chapters selected by remote offcourse, just no page for a visual reference.

  4. I'm pretty sure it can be done with pcgedit (but as I don't have TSUNAMI-MPEG DVD Author, I can't test it out). As mentioned make it with 2 chapter pages. Load the video_ts.ifo in pgcedit, click on VMGM in the top left list, then the green 'Menu' button. Click on the button for the slideshow and change the command. The button for the slideshow should link directly to the title (command: JumpTT...) instead of the menu (command: JumpSS...).

Nice one borax, Was just cleaning up a folder and come across pgcedit and remembered this post and was going to suggest it as as a free alternative to DVDLab.
I don't know much about pgcedit myself but know enough to come back here to suggest it as a free alternative.

Took my 1st look at gfd today after above post. Not much good for this situation.
But going to use it to create something better than 1 clicking through Tsunami for a nephews 1st bithday project.
    Nice GUI !!
