I'm probably asking a newbie question but here goes:
I've been able to create an AVI that I'm converting to DVD using ConvertXToDVD. Everything creates fine and the DVD is completely playable. Now here's the problem: If I play just the VOB file using PowerDVD the video plays fine all the way to the end then stops. But if I play the DVD in my DVD player, it plays continuously, looping back to the beginning. Since this is a homemade intro for my theater, I want it to play just once.
What can I do with this? Do I need to edit the IFO file?
Any help will be appreciated.
TIA,
Chuck

All you need to do....in "Settings"...under "Authoring" in ConvertXToDVD...uncheck "Loop Playback"...& check "Sequential Playback".

OK. I made sure that Loop Playback was unchecked (it was) and I placed a check in Sequential Playback. I'm still getting looping.
Correct me if I'm wrong but when playing a DVD, the first file that's run is the VIDEO_TS.IFO
If I double click the VIDEO_TS.IFO, the video plays and then loops to the beginning. If I doubleclick on just the VOB it plays just once. What's the deal? Can't I get this to play just once?
