I am beginning an HD holiday project using Vegas 9.0 Pro in which there will be 2 windows (one for video, the other for photos). I am in need of a fairly simple textured moving background--much like current news programs use. I have found a number of free loops such as snowfall, stars, etc. but they produce too much motion and become quite distracting. Any ideas where I might find such "simple" loops or is software available that would easily create such background loops? In addition to Vegas, I also have Photoshop CS5. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  2. it's quite easy to make it yourself in vegas or any NLE

you can keyframe the texture to whatever speed/direction you want

if you need a long loop, ideally you would use a seamless texture (i.e one that can connected itself on every boarder so there are no gaps)

  3. You can try Neo's Clip Archive http://www.thecliparchive.com/ which is really an index of sources for loops.
