i took a few still shots with my mini dvd camera. i won't try to understand how stills can be saved along with video. what do i have to do to have them made into photos? i thought i could go to cvs and use their instant machine but i was told it only accepts full size discs, not mini discs. will my mini dvd camera replace my regular camera for takng still pictures?

Doesn't it save better pictures to a memory stick or SD card? CVS should accept those. The video save modes imply video resolution and use in videos.

It will never match the performance of a dedicated still cam but can be used for stills.
