wmv-hd for xbox360

hey i split a wmv-hd for xbox360 and it plays on pc but 360 wont reckognize the split files. they are still in wmv format and i used Movica to split the files. anyone know why 360 would reckognize the original wmv-hd and not the 2 split files?

Maybe try asfbin....or movica is based on asfbin but it may work better with the asfbingui.

And doesn't windows media encoder also include a tool for cutting wmvs?

I use Boilsoft AVI/MPEG/RM/WMV Splitter and it works a treat, had a movie that was over 5gig and wanted to play it on my xbox360 using an external drive and as you have to have it formatted @ fat32 to enable the 360 to see it you can't have any file over 4gig on it...split it perfectly into 2 parts without loss of picture or sound quality.
