    Hi,

My quick question is Sonic(Plus v7)set to ignore errors and if so how do I set it NOT to ignore errors? Also while I'm here asking what is the difference between verifying a disc and finalizing a disc?

(I really apologize if this is in the wrong place. I kept debating where to put it and just decided in here. )

Thanks for reading and any help.

  2. Verifying checks the disc for file errors after burning.
Finalizing means you can no longer add data to the disc.
As for Sonic Plus v7:have you checked Options->Data?

Thank you for replying. Yep, I've looked around everywhere and can't find nothing about ignoring/not ignoring errors. Maybe it just doesn't give the user a option? Then I searched the Sonic Help guide for "errors" and this came up in one of the results:

"By default your recordings will be burned at the maximum speed available for your combination of drive and media. If you experience errors during recording, try reducing the maximum recorder speed."

Sooo ... that would imply that it won't ignore errors right? lol

  4. You might export to ISO or DVD files and burn with ImgBurn, that way you can have full control and notify you of any write errors.
