    Hi all.

I have converted several mp3 music files into the ac3 format just to make an audio-only DVD in DVD-lab Pro. But before authoring, I would like to hear the resulting ac3 files. Which software should I use to play these ac3 music files? I've tried Windows Media Player but it seems it does not recognize this kind of files.

    I'll appreciate your help.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mário

Check <--Tools. Get AC3 directshow filter. Now you can.

Thank you for your answer, but...

OK I got the tool; but now, where and how do I install it? As this is a filter (?), is it associated with any other video reading software?

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Thanks

If you have installed ac3 filter you should be able to play .ac3 files using wmp. File->Open and select any file or double click on a ac3 file and select wmp as player.
