Problems with new RADEON WIN ME Drivers – Please help me


I have downloaded and installed following ATI- AIW Radeon Win ME Drivers :
Display Drivers 4.13.9021 Multi-Language Version Dutch (Direct X 8.1 was already installed)
Capture Drivers 6.13.10.5118
ATI Multimedia Center 7.6
and DVD Player 7.6

Removing of the originally installed drivers (MMC 7.1, Display Drivers etc.) was executed according to ATI INSTALL description which I found on the VCDHELP-site. New drivers have been correctly installed.

When playing captured AVI-videofilms (ATI File Player 7.6 or Windows Media Player) I am confronted with picture distortion. The picture seems to be composed of different big grains ('small bricks') rather than of the normal fine pixels.

I have no problems whatsoever with other applications.
Original drivers that are delivered on CD with the card give no problems either.
To be able to capture in a higher resolution (720 x 576) I would like to use the new drivers.
Do the new display drivers 5.13.01.6043 work better under OS Win 2000 or is the possibility that problems occur still the same ?

Who is willing to help me solving this problem ? Any kind of support will be welcomed warmly.

what codec are you using to capture? You may just need to reinstall this capture codec.
