How to watch a small movie in DV format

Hy everybody,
I am not expert with video conversion.
A friend of mine gave me a CD with I small movie recorded with a camera in DV format (IT is with the extension .mov).

When I use a new Mac to watch the movie everything is ok (I think because the program IMove)
but when I try with my pc, I can hear just the sound (with Windows media player)
I tryed to watch the movie with:
windows media player 6.4 / 7.1
Quick time 5.0
I tryed to convert the movie vith EditStudio 3.0.9 and with AviEdit but don't work.
What's wrong with that movie?!?!?

If the file extension is .mov you can only view it on a pc using Quicktime, or you can convert it to a mpeg using the how-tos and tools section on the left of your screen (you will still need quicktime).
