I have a camera and just shot a few home videos and i thought i would add a little extra to what i usually do: menus, titles and transitions.
Right now i'm pretty annoyed with Pinnacle Studio 10+'s audio editing tools. I added a song to the music track and now i'm trying to get it somewhat sincronised with the pictures and for that i need to cut-out the middle of the song and maybe fade in and out the two new parts. Problem is i can't seem to trim out the middle of the song. I know it sounds retarded, and it should be straight foward but man, i just can't figure it out. I double click the track and i get the properties dialog. i move the two handles but the retarded Studio10 seems to only know how to trim the begining and the ending. I fear i will have to use some other audio editing tool, but it's be handier to do it all in the same program. Am i missing something? Thanks

Forget about using the properties dialog. Just edit it on the timeline. You may want to lock all the other tracks just to make sure you don't edit something you don't want to. Then select the music clip on the timeline (single click). Move the timeline scrubber to the beginning of the section you wish to delete. Click the razor blade icon to split the clip. Move the scrubber to the end of the section to be deleted. Repeat the split. Your music clip is now composed of three separate sections. Select the middle one and click the trash can icon (or hit the delete key). Hope that helps.
