  1. In Premiere, is there a way to change a fullscreen clip into 16:9 widescreen?
When I was recording with my camera, I started to record using fullscreen, but then decided to use widescreen cause it looked more "cinema'ish" and I was wondering if there was anyway to convert the fullscreen video I have to widescreen.
    Thanks in advance.

  3. If your video is already in fullscreen, you won't be able to convert it to widescreen unless you crop or distort it, neither of which I would imagine you really want to do. Widescreen is something that has to occur at filmtime.

BTW Greg12, in the case of studio released movies, those black bars allow you to preserve the full original frame of the movie. Why anyone would want to compromise the director's original vision and watch a hack-job version of the movie is beyond me.

As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
