  1. Help,
i have downloaded some movies and converted them to a vcd for my eldest son to watch on his stand alone dvd player,no problem. But now my youngest son wants to watch the same movies on his video,is there a way to transfer the movies to vhs.I posted the question the other day and somebody said to simply connect the video and dvd together via scart leads, this i tried, and yes it did copy the vcd but the quality was very poor.Have i connected the two correctly or is there a way to do the vhs straight from my hardrive,if this is the case what harware and software do i need?.
Please help the kids are killing each other!.

  3. I've got the same problem. Now that I'm getting used to doing VCD, I'm trying to figure out what is going to be a reasonable way to get back out to VHS. Maybe someone has some Ideas for hardware, software or even some other sites that might be of some help.

  4. Hey! I don't know if I'm getting smarter or dumber, but, I just read a post in the newbie section a little while ago about recording from your DVD player through the VCR (which is recording) to your tv, which is monitoring. If it's any more complicated than that, I think someone will jump on us shortly.

  5. you should be able to plug your video out/audio out from your dvd player into your VHS line in and hit record.

VCD doesn't have macrovision, so you won't have to worry about that causing you problems.
