    OK this is weird and never had this problem up untill i had to start up tmpgenc plus today after a while.
    None of my avi files will load i get the unsupported error upon load, i know about the rasiing direct show filter and have that done already but still wont work any file unless i use virtualdub, what am i doing wrong now?

    If VDub can open them then they should open without messing with VFAPI priorities (no audio though if it is VBR mp3). TMPGEnc's dshow reader can be a bit picky.

    I'd suggest using AVISynth. Bonus is faster encoding times if you use it for resizing, etc. instead of TMPGEnc.

    You could always try uninstalling/reinstalling.
