    I got a new PC and whenever I stream a WMV file off the net, the video is all discolored. It plays correctly, but the colors are all OFF (pink and yellow mostly).

    How do I correct this?

    It comes in two forms :

    1: It's crap ... ie , the way it had been encoded ... nothing you can do about that .

    2: New pc ... I bet you have the original vga driver's installed ... go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest driver update package , and uninstall the old package prior to installing the new one , then reboot the pc , and see how that gose .

    Ps : You dont stream nothing ... they do (where the file comes from) .

    So did you try step 2?

    You can also try updating WMP and/or downloading the wmv codec pack from microsoft.
