    Hi all,
    I bought a TV tuner from e-Bay loaded with Philips 713X Chipset. I expereince problem with sound (loud hiss allover the band) I realize many people with the same Chipset have similar problem.
    If anybody has a clue about solving the problem please inform me!

    There is an issue with the SAA7134. This device only works properly with samplerate set to 32 KHz.
    However, the driver offers 48 kHz, which sounds distorted. It might even offer 44.1 KHz (dependent on the driver version/config) shich is unusable (as far as I remember).

    In any case you should check for a driver update!!
