Sound????

On dvds that ive burned with dvd decrypter i cant get any sound out of computer. works fine in dvd player, can get sound for system sounds out of speakers. if i open disc with dvd shrink and play with dvd shrink works fine. dont know if its a problem with computer or media. thanks in advance for help.

What software are you using to test them on your computer ?

windows media player,sonic player, media center,cineplayer, all have same resuslt. sorry should have stated that.

Any audio from DVDs at all, or just AC3 ?

It seems that something has gone astray in the audio codecs, so you need to narrow down exactly what it might be.

No audio at all from dvds, not sure what ac3 is. Sorry youre dealing with a rookie here, thanks for your patience and help. Agian, if I use dvd shrink to open the disk and then use dvd shrink to play, works fine. Just other software, no sound. Ill take your advice on the other issue as well, and just buy some better disks and use Imgburn. Thanks again.
