  1. STILL TRYING TO BACK UP DVD OR VCD TO VHS NO JOY. CAN SOMEONE PLS HELP. RUNNING VIDEO OUT YELLOW LEAD DIRECT TO VHS FROM DVD. WHEN PLAYING BACK JUST BLACK AND WHITE OR DISTORTED PICTURE. CAN I TURN MACROVISION OFF WITH THIS DVD OR DO I NEED TO BY A MAGIC BOX. PLEASE GIVE ME A DETAILED OF HOW TO DO AS THIS IS ALL NEW TO ME. THANKS

  2. INSTEAD OF SHOUTING LIKE THIS WHY NOT JUST ANSWER MY REPLY TO YOU IN THE OTHER POST AND TELL PEOPLE THAT IT DID NOT WORK.YOU WILL GET FAR BETTER RESULTS.

    The hack I gave you was for the Pacific 1000 but may have worked for you seeing all the Region hacks work on the Pacific 750.

    I'm sorry it diddn't but shouting will get you nowhere.

    There are no specific hacks recorded so far for your model to disable macrovision.

    You may need to go and buy a 'Magic Box'.......

  3. Just found something that might help you......

    To alter the Macrovision settings on this player
    1. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the drive tray
    2. Press the 4, 5, 6 and 1 buttons on your remote control, in order, one at a time
    3. Select Enable to enable Macrovision, or Disable to disable Macrovision

  4. Thanks, i will try that this evening and let you know. Should i get a msg on screen telling me that macrovision has been disabled or enabled.
