I have win2k. I am trying to install Windows Media Encoder 9, and it gave me an error, saying that the file "wmex.dll", failed to register. I tried it several times, but no dice.
Anyone have any ideas? please advise.

Have you tried to manually register the file?
Do you have DirectX 9.0 installed?Google is your Friend
