    Please Help!
I use the mpeg card "Grandmars PV234" to capture PAL-I VCD format file before, but that card sudden out of order.
Then I buy a new mpeg card "Compro H900", I also set it to capture PAL-I VCD format file.
When I try to join the files capture by these 2 cards, it fail becasue of their "Pixel Aspect Ratio" are different.
    Grandmars PV234 use "0.9157 CCIR601 625 line", but
    Compro H900 use "0.6735"

    - How can I join these 2 type of PAL-I VCD files with different "Pixel Aspect Ratio" ?

    Thanks for any help.

    MpegSequenceMaker.

    Open 2nd movie.
[Show Options] Aspect Ratio: set the AR to be equal to the 1st movie.
    Set output file, and [Start].

Then Join 1st movie and 2nd "output file" with TMPGEnc, or something similar.

    Thanks for help.
I have try "Mpeg Sequence Maker v0.2", but it said my mpg is NOT a "basic Video Stream", if I just ignore it and input the mpg file, the output file will have some corrupt.

    - Is this means I need convert the mpg file to a "basic Video Stream"(mpv?) first ?

    - If yes, then how can I make the convertion (and convert back to mpg later) ?

p.s.: I used to use MyFlix 3.0.5 to cut/join mpg1 files, the "frame accurate" function can make exactly "cut point". I like this function.

It sounds like you need to demultiplex the files; i.e. separate into a video and an audio file.
Every video editor will have this function. If you can't find it, try TMPGEnc.
Then use Mpeg Sequence Maker on the video files; then multiplex the result back with the audio files. Then try joining your new mpegs.

Just to make those steps a little clearer:

    1. Demultiplex Movie1.mpg with TMPGEnc. [File | MPEG Tools | Demultiplex tab] (or with "Simple Demultiplex" tab). You should have Movie1.m1v and Movie1.mp2.
    2. Do same with Movie2.mpg. You now have Movie2.m1v and Movie2.mp2.
    3. Change AR of Movie2.m1v with MPEGSequenceMaker. It probably doesn't "see" the file, so type in "*.m1v" [Enter]. It'll see it then. Now you'll have Movie2-fixedAR.m1v (or whatever you name it).
    4. Check the mp2 file in MPEGProperties. If you're doing all this work, you want to make sure the audios are matched in bitrate, too. Otherwise, you'll get stuck again. If they are, fine--move on. If not, you'll need to decode and re-encode to the proper bitrate (hopefully the higher of the two).
    5. Multiplex Movie1.m1v & Movie1.mp2 with TMPGEnc (VCD or Non-standardVCD system stream type) into Movie1-new.mpg. Multiplex Movie2-fixedAR.m1v & Movie2.mp2 (or Movie2-fixedBR.mp2) into Movie2-new.mpg. (You REALLY want to use the same multiplexer, and settings here!)
    6. Join Movie1-new.mpg and Movie2-new.mpg in TMPGEnc.

Should work OK now. Ready to author & burn...
