    Hi folks, hope some one can help. When I try to convert a windows media video/audio file to dvd I get perfect picture quality but no sound. I have used avi2dvd and dvdsanta with exactly the same results... anybody got any ideas If it's codec related which one should I get. Thanks in advance for any help given. Cam

    Well one option is to get the latest virtualdubmpeg2. The most recent version can open wmv files. From there you can go to file-save wav. You'll have the wav audio to use in your conversion process.

    Other than that I can't offer a suggestion as most of the wmvs I deal with are ones I make, thus I have the original source file to work with.
