I just tried to import a movie into SpruceUP created by Dazzle Digital Video Creator 2 and it gave me an error message" error in system header." Has anyone else had this error-the file created does work in Moviefactory and DVD Complete but not SpruceUp.

its not your system its the dazzle 2, i had a very nice person make a nice program that fixes the header info in all dazzle files (as well as their m2v files) and it works great. I sent it into this site but it still has not yet been posted, drop me a line and i will send this to you.-- mazinz@aol.com

Spruceup seems to put a lot of credence in the mpeg header of imported files. I captured a file at 9.5Mbps then transcoded it down to 4.5Mbps. Unfortunately, the header still had the 9.5Mbps as the nominal bit rate. I used a program called DVDPatcher, available at http://kickme.to/DVDPatcher which does an excellent job of making the changes needed by Spruceup so that it will properly import your captured files. For most cases, you just need to change the info in the first header, which will take less than a second to complete. Try this program and your import problems should (?) be over.
