    i have dowbloaded an avi file but when i try to play it, it is all blurry and all the colours are blurred together. the sound is fine. can you please tell me what to do. thanks.

    you need the proper codec for the file. ask the person who encoded the file what they used.

    try play with videolan. if you still get same problem with that avi it might be corrupt.

    Gspot in most cases will help in finding out which codec is needed. if it fails you will need to contact the author.

    i used Gspot and it told me i had three of the codecs needed to play it for audio and video. i then rendered it and played it from file>play and it played fine in windows media player. i then tried to play it without using Gspot and it played fine. thank you ROF
