I've been capturing videos for a couple of years now and have been pretty used to TMPGEnc, but when I was about to download it again (had to format hard drives) I noticed something called TMPGEnc XPress. I guess my first question is does XPress do the same thing as the Regular TMPGEnc? My main concern is which one is better?

  2. Xpress is newer and easier to use, more features. I like the simplicity of adding video source, choosing NTSC DVD and it auto sets the bitrate and will even adjust the resolution to 352 by 480 if you add to much to get goods results from 720 by 480 resolution. Easy setting for quality or speed etc.
