Hi All!
Is there a way to find out when a footage was recorded in a VHS tape? I mean, how many days ago it was recorded?
Thanks in advance!![]()

I thought that a chemical analisys in the tape would give a estimation on when the pelicule was magnetized. Am I wrong?

Depending on the VCR. For instance, my Panasonic VCR records a time and date stamp at the start of a recording. I have to enable the display of the time/date stamp in a menu. And of course I had to have recorded the tape on that VCR. Other VCRs might have a similar feature.

I just read the entrails of a recently sacrificed sheep or goat.
My JVC 9900 keeps track of any tapes made on it.Losing one's sense of humor....
