is there a nice way to remove trailers, fbi warnings, disclaimers, generaly all annoying things, apart from main movie, menus, extras ?
I tried with vobblanker but its so complicated

That would also remove the menu and extras. Never had any problem previewing and deleting unwanted files with VobBlanker myself.Originally Posted by yoda313

Invest more time in learning VobBlanker, and follow a step-by-step guide. IMO, it's the best tool for the scenario you describe. VobBlanker is not all that difficult, and will repay your effort.

I found DVD Shrink to be the best
it allows me to easily preview each part of the dvd
but does it have an option to remove it? I only found an option to replace with a picture, while I would like to completely remove some dvd parts
is it possible with DVD Shrink ? -
The problem with replacing a video segment with a still-frame is that the still-frame will be displayed for the same amount of time that the original video segment lasted.Originally Posted by ecos

yes, thats what I was afraid of
so I cannot remove certain stuff from a dvd using DVD Shrink ? -
Not without totally re-authoring. As a rule it's best to remove as much as possible with VobBlanker before opening in Shrink. That means Shrink has less work to do and picture quality is maximised.Originally Posted by ecos

I have problems with VobBlanker, it doesnt recognize a part of the dvd that contains a copywrite warning, which is under 'extras' in DVDShrink
maybe another re-authoring program would do it -
You can use VobBlanker to edit bits from the start of the main movie file such as warning notices and company logos but be warned there can be undesirable side effects such as when a commentary begins before the opening titles have appeared.Originally Posted by ecos
