    Hi

I'm searching a program which makes dubbing videos easy. There should be options like "first listening to the old dub, then recording myself via the microphone". Are there any programs which do have trial versions or are there any free programs? Ah, and the program should run unter WinME. (yeah, this os is crap, i know)

    Thanks in advance,
    LR

ps: I didn't know where to post this so I postet it under audio because its got to do with dubbing. If it's the wrong place pls move it into the right section.

ulead video studio has a dubbing track option I believe.

And what I would suggest is to simply play the recorded clip first then play it again and start your dubbing.

IF you are asking if you can record the video and dub SIMULTANEOUSLY I'm not sure what program does that.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

Not free.. but you could probably do this with n-Track.

It is a multi-track audio studio that can record you on a new track while it plays the audio from another. You would have to extract the audio to wav first with some other tool.

Thanks for both answers. n-track crashed on my computer and ulead video studio doesn't run on this pc.
Are there maybe other programs which do the same?

Most sound cards are full duplex, which means they can play back and record at the same time. You could open the video and and audio editor at the same time, play back the video and record from a mic input simultaneously. Then it is a matter of just adding the audio to the DVD/video. I would do it in an editor so that you can chop things up if necessary to make it fit (assuming dub doesn't just mean commentary track, but ADR work).

Yeah, that's a good idea. I have NeroWaveEditor, that will be ok I think. But is there any program which maybe can reduce the noise better that NeroWaveEditor? It's not important, though. I got to buy a better microphone I think.
    Thanks.

Edit: I need a program where I can listen to an audiofile (with a peak-graph) and simultaneosly record something "into" it. So that afterwards I have an audio-file with both audios merged into one file.

Edit2: Hmm this method won't work very good because I have to press play and stop in 2 programs and this would be annoying. There should be a program like the programs that the professional dubbers use. (I mean "dubbing studios" or how they call it.)
