  1. I use the following for DVD Backups from DVD9 to DVD5
    SmartRipper - Rip DVD
    DVD2AVI - for dv2 and wav
VAPI - for virtual avi to frameserve CCE
CCE 2.62 - Multipass VBR makes .mpv file (best quality)
DVD Workshop or DVDit and Nero

Now I want to burn the final MPG with the FULL audio stream quality. Most of the latest titles use 48Khz 448bit in the encoded dolby AC3. The problem is that neither one of the authoring programs I have seem to support buring it with the full audio quality.

Ulead DVD Workshop - 384 highest, only 224 seems to sync right.
DVDit - only imports PCM wave which will only encide to 256kbs.

Yes, I could use TMPGenc but the quality is not quite up to CCE and the final MPG's are not exactly complient. They will not import to DVDit. So you see my problem.

For example, right now a have a MPG 720x480 VBR, 448bit AC3 ready to use, but no idea how to author it maintaining the full quality. I got this by demuxing the AC3 from the VOB then remuxing it back with the MPV that CCE created. whew...must be an easier way...

    All responses greatly appreciated!

  2. bump....anyone?

    Im assuming there is nothing.
I called ULEAD and they are working on an upgrade that will
handle up to 448 audio. Guess we'll just have to wait...
