    Hello everyone,

I need help with doing something basic. I want to convert my AVCHD files recorded with my SOny SR1 to FLV files to put on the web. Here's my workflow:

I use the Sony PMB software to first convert to AVCHD video to MPG.
Then I convert the MPG to FLV with the Adobe Flash Video Encoder CS3.

When I do this the audio is lost. It seems Sony software outputs the MPG with AC3 audio.
Now it seems Adobe Flash Video Encoder CS3 DOES NOT support AC3 audio.

Anybody has an idea what I can do?
Is there another Flash encoder that does support it AC3 input for audio?
Can I install an AC3 decoder that Adobe can use?

Please help as my family wants to see the homevideo of christmas and now they are without audio...

(there used to be an option to output 2 channel audio when converting to mpg, but Sony removed it with there software update, since it was usefull and Sony always removes all usefull things)

(I cannot use avccodec or Haali Media splitter to do the encoding different as Haali media splitter or big CodecPacks screws up the Sony sotware. Don't ask...)

You can use avidemux and convert the audio to some other format like mp2, wav. Under Video choose copy to just copy the video.

Or convert directly to flv in avidemux (or convert to mp4 with h264 video and aac audio, it is supported by flash and you get much better quality)

I have AUDIO. Hurray. Avidemux is also much more stable. Adobe crashed a lot of times when trying to trim the video. Excellent!

Too bad I couldn't open the AVCHD .m2ts file immediately with Avidemux. That would have saved me even more time.

By the way, what would you recommend for a native flash player on the pc? (Nero 'claims' al my FLV files but can't even play them)
