  1. Hi,

    A friend of mine asked me if I knew of any software to make his life eaier when having to transcribe the minutes of various meetings from an audio tape(dictaphone). I personally have never really heard of such a thing available on a consumer level and one would presume, it would be extremely difficult to produce such software.I just wondered if such a piece of software existed and were I mght find it if it did?

  4. To get any kind of accuracy with voice recognition software the program has to be trained to a specific speaker's voice. The recording has to be very clear with no background noise and little hiss. This pretty much means it must be recorded with a microphone right in front of the speaker's mouth.
